WWF Green Office is a practical environmental management system for offices. It helps companies to reduce the ecological footprint and greenhouse gas emissions of their offices. The service includes an on premises inspection conducted by WWF Green Office experts.

To demonstrate what they have achieved with respect to their objectives and claims, Tony’s needs timely and accurate field data. Mobile data collection is key for measuring improvements on the farms and in the communities and for analyzing development and sustainability indicators.
For their certified farmer cooperatives in Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire, Tony’s has initiated a project where Poimapper is implemented for field data collection. Using Poimapper in combination with AuditAide software, Tony’s cooperatives are able to quickly analyse field data and assess the performance of their certified farmers, identify bottlenecks on the ground and take action in order to achieve a truly sustainable and slave-free cocoa chain for Tony’s chocolate bars.
Monitoring of maternal care clients.
Tearfund has been using Poimapper for monitoring maternal care clients with/without HIV in various countries. Pregnant women with HIV have a high risk for transmitting the disease to the child.
Mother Buddies visit the pregnant women (the clients) according to a predefined schedule to monitor their health and give advice. The pregnant women receive SMS reminders notifying them of an upcoming visit.
Mother buddies update information regarding the clients during the visits. Team leaders for the mother buddies, managers or organizations employing the mother buddies, public officials, the NGO running the operation (Tearfund) at country and head office level follow the progress made by the mother buddies.
Helping business owners in typhoon-affected communities.
CARE Philippines is implementing projects to better understand and help community businesses and women’s businesses in Typhoon Haiyan-affected communities. One major activity is to gather baseline data that will determine changes in three main indicators: addressing vulnerability, achieving a multiplier effect, and increasing profitability.

The pilot program is being managed by Niras and funded by the Foreign Ministry of Finland.
